Eros is love, the burgeoning life force that expresses in myriad forms of the quest for Union. Our own life force is always seeking that union, but do we fully embrace it’s longing, and elevate it to the octave of devotion? And what does that mean anyway, is the devotion to a form, or to the movement of energy itself, to the Love? And can we surrender to follow that Love, that energy, wherever it leads us ~ is that safe?
The mature masculine eros is a misunderstood and mistrusted force in our society, and here at the tail end of this multi-thousand year train wreck called patriarchy, that’s understandable, because we’ve all been impacted by toxic masculinity.
But if we want the ecstatic union of Awakening, we have to learn to recognize, honor, and embody all the aspects of essence, those we’ve associated with the labels masculine and feminine, in both ourselves and our partners, and cultivate their mature expressions. The feminine needs the profound safety and deep holding of the mature masculine, to surrender and open to the healing, pleasure, and power of her connected nature. We all need to cultivate our mature masculine in the journey of our wholeness and awakened intimacy.

David Imiri: David's work is about awakening and stabilizing authentic Heart presence, with a focus on sacred intimacy. He brings deep and well-honed abilities of holding space, insight & articulation, intuition, gentle challenge, and nurturing care. Having practiced individual and relationship counseling, bodywork, and leading groups for 30 years, David has received initiation in several spiritual traditions and been mentored by a number of eclectic trailblazers.
