We’ve inherited a lot of shame and baggage from patriarchal culture and our own wounding, in a society that is both fixated on disconnected sexuality, and scared of it at the same time. Scared of being present to the power of what it moves in us, and scared of authentic intimacy and contact.
Many traditions of initiation, awakening, and healing in the past have included an erotic component. Much of that has been lost in the social sphere, but has survived in secret, and is experiencing a resurgence. To really make best use of this encounter in a professional setting, and have safe and effective exchanges reliably (no matter what comes up), we may actually need everything we’d need to be a great trauma therapist, and a lot more besides. But we don’t need that depth of mastery to get started with partners and friends. And if we have strong healing arts background, our path to offering professional services may be short. I’ve been working with trauma and couples counseling for over 30 years, and practicing Erotic Healing Arts in some form for 20. Wherever you are in your development, I can help you get to the next level and beyond…
During the weekends you will do a self-assessment to tune into your aspirations, intentions, and level of the craft. Then we’ll co-create a customized development plan and homework for you, including practice sessions. This will cover your inner (self-development) and outer (session skills) goals and inquiries, even branding & professional practices if we want to go that far. I’ll personally coach you through the 3 months as you follow your development plan.
Erotic Healing Arts Practitioner Certificate Training includes:

David has also led groups for decades, and has received initiation in several spiritual traditions and been mentored by a number of eclectic trailblazers. David’s teachers have included Hamid (A.H.) David was initiated into sacred sexuality by an elder priestess in 1997, and they were lovers for 2 years. Ever since he’s held space for beloveds and friends in community in this way. Devotional by nature, his special pleasure is in mentoring clients and students into greater love, authenticity, self-empowerment, and expansive possibility. David aims to do all things in a relaxed spirit of skillful, creative play and adventure.
